Last night in Las Vegas, Nevada one of Carolina Forest’s athletes, Madison Janack was named to the Junior Team USA for Bowling. She will now compete worldwide against several other countries this year and represent the United States of America.
She earned the honor by finishing second overall out of 140 of the Nation’s Top Bowlers, which included 14 Professional Bowlers and 33 Collegiate Bowlers. She averaged 210 after 5 rounds of 6 games per day or 30 games during the week.
She finished second only to a Professional Bowler, Shannon O’Keefe, who averaged 215 for the week. Shannon has been named to Team USA numerous times.
Madison was the #1 Youth to qualify for the tournament and was considered the top sought after high school bowler in the country. She will attend Wichita State in the fall and will lead a very talented Freshman Class of Shockers.
