Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball, Girls Varsity Volleyball · Attending a Carolina Forest High School Volleyball Match? Here’s what to expect.

Coming to the Forest to cheer on the Panthers Volleyball Team?

So many things have changed for us since we last hosted a volleyball match at Carolina Forest. Please take some time and review all the information below regarding the procedures we are implementing at Carolina Forest to be able to play a volleyball season.

Online ticketing and the entrance to the gymnasium

We are proud to announce that we have partnered with Home Town Ticketing to provide online ticketing for our spectators. Online ticketing will allow us to better manage the capacity levels in our venue, maximizing the potential  of selling every possible seat. We intend on having a successful season and having many spectators; please purchase your tickets in advance.  Tickets will be available in advance five days from the date of the game. The parents of Carolina Forest High School JV and Varsity Volleyball players, members of the Carolina Forest All Sports Booster Club, and students who are members of the BLACK HOLE, SCHSL, HCS Employees, and Top 65 pass holders will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets.  There will be a limited number of tickets available.  Once the limited number of tickets are sold out, we will not allow anyone else to enter the gymnasium.  Horry County Schools Employee Pass holders, SCHSL Coaching Pass holders, and All Sports Booster Club Season Pass holders are not guaranteed a ticket or entry to the game.  Pass holders must redeem their free ticket during the pre-sale time frame for each game.  After the pass holder time frame closes, general admission tickets will go on sale.

Enter the gymnasium from either side of the main building through the 300 concourse (Main Gym and Auditorium Lobby) of Carolina Forest High School. Please present your mobile or printed ticket to be scanned for entry. You will not be allowed to exit and re-enter the gymnasium, so please plan ahead. You must wear a mask while on campus.

Tickets are $5.  No refunds are available with the purchase of your ticket(s).  The doors will open to fans 30 minutes before the first game begins.

Concession Stand

Outside food or drinks are not permitted.  We will have a concession stand available with pre-packaged items and cold drinks. No tail gating is allowed before, during, or after a game.

Seating

The gym bleachers along each side of the gym will be divided in half from left to right at mid court, if looking from the middle of the court.

Carolina Forest Panther fans will be allowed to sit in the sets of  bleachers furthest from the lobby on both the Carolina and Forest Side of the gym; behind the Panther team bench and in the stands on the opposite side of the court. (PANTHER sections are located in cardinal in the picture below)

Visiting team fans (visiting sections are located in green in the picture below) are allowed to sit behind the visiting  team bench and in the stands on the opposite side of the court.  All fans will need to sit in designated areas in a seat marked with the Carolina Forest Logo .

Gym Seating Configuration

In order to maximize the seating capacity in the gymnasium there are some stairways that will be utilized as an emergency exit only; these stairway aisles are not to be used except in an emergency.  Emergency Exit Stairway aisles are blocked with two orange cones at the bottom of the stairs.  Please do not step on the seats to climb the bleachers.  See the pictures below of the the stairways and the gymnasium seating.

Available seats are 6′ away from all usable aisles and stairways.  Available seats are also located 6′ away from other families. If you do not see a decal on the bleacher, you are not able to sit in that seat.  Some sections have the capability to hold larger families.  If your family is smaller, please sit in the sections suited for your family size.  (Note the differences in section sizes in the pictures below). We would like to fill the gymnasium with as many fans as possible, but be mindful of adequate spacing between families and individuals.

For two individuals sitting on the same row to be socially distant, they must have 3 seats between them. Thus, the potential for various seating combinations per row (see examples below)
The visiting team fans should not sit in the designated seating areas for Carolina Forest fans.  Carolina Forest fans should not sit in the designated seating areas for the visiting team.  As tickets sell out, please do not purchase a visiting team ticket expecting to sit on the home side or vice versa.  No one other than school and game personnel will be allowed to stand in other locations of the gym.

Potential Seating Combinations

Please remain in your seat unless using the restroom or visiting the concession stand

We ask that when you enter the building, you find a seat and remain seated for the entire game.  You are allowed to visit the restroom and the concession stand, but please remember to stay socially distant and 6′ feet away from other spectators.  Do not approach the visiting or home team bench area and stay off the court.  Please wash and/or sanitize your hands frequently to help reduce the spread of germs.  All spectators must wear a mask while on campus.

After the game

Once the game is over,  all fans are required to leave immediately. Fans will not be allowed to sit in the stands or stand on the court.  Upon completion of the game, please exit the gym and the building.  If you are waiting on your student athlete, please wait in your car.
